Ray & Chantel Ortiz
Ray and Chantel met in 2001 while attending Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas and married in May of 2003. Together, they served in youth ministry for nine years. During this time they lived in Dallas, Texas; Austin, Texas; Tonkawa, Oklahoma; and San Angelo, Texas serving in local churches as youth pastors, worship leaders/directors, & creative arts directors. They have three children; Colby, Cephas (Kay-Fa), and Sophia.
In 2011, the years of dreaming, praying, and planning turned into moving back to Austin, Texas to plant a local church. They love the city of Austin and all the wonderful and weird things that come with it. Ray and Chantel believe whole heartedly that the local church should be a beacon of hope and love in the community and in the Austin metro area. They have a heart for the “creatives” that call Austin home and will be starting a 501 (C) 3 non-profit in the near future to further support the “weird” in Austin.
Erica is in love with God, her husband Michael, and the Dallas Cowboys. Erica and her ridiculously awesome husband, Michael, have a passion for serving the local church. God has grown and transformed this church family in so many amazing ways. They feel extremely blessed to be a part of it.
She is proof that God uses the most unlikely people to equip his people for his plans. She has a degree in nursing and a fear of public speaking…. boom, unlikely. She has discovered nothing brings her closer to God than obediently serving his people.
She loves having the privilege of leading and serving with such a great group of people who truly want to make a difference for Jesus Christ. Her goal is to help you connect with Jesus by continually creating environments for us to go from here to there together.
Tracy and Anthony have been married for 10 years and have a 7 year old, Micah and a 2 year old, Emery. Tracy and Anthony have been involved in youth ministry for 15 years since they were students themselves.
Over the years they have loved to help cultivate the gifts and calling in their student’s lives. They have seen God do great things through teenagers and their heart is to equip students to thrive in life and be confident in navigating their relationship with Jesus while serving Him and leading others to serve Him.
Tracy and Anthony’s heart is to teach teenagers the love of God so they can love other’s well. They believe that loving them through these specific years are critical and key to impacting them for life. Their goal is for the teenagers to experience God’s real tangible presence in their lives and hear His voice when he speaks then go and make disciples.
